Epik Headrest Monitors?

I recently bought a 06 Odyssey with these Epik headrest monitors in the headrests, can anyone tell me how they get them to work? I think the remote is broken that I have as it doesn't want to do anything.. I can get the monitors to play the dvd, but when it comes to the menu on the dvd I cant get the dvd to play the movie, all I can see are the previews of movies before the movie starts. I also only hear sound through the headphones and not the speakers in the car Does anyone have any experience with these monitors? Any help is appreciated, Thanks!!

After market units.
They may transmit a radio signal that your radio can pick up and play.
Have you checked google for owner manuals?
