Yeah, so I'm a noob at RES.
I'm used to driving the car and having complete control over the audio; not handing it over to my kids...
So, we just got a Touring Elite. Took me several days just to find my DVD collection, and find time to sit in the back of the car.
Even better, the 2nd time I sat back there, I figured out that the remote comes out, for easy use.
Firstly, when the remote is out of the holster (ceiling mount), it does not work.
I'm assuming that my order of BR3032 batteries is gonna fix that.
I could not get any buttons on the remote to "light up".
Again, I'm assuming that this is the batteries?
I was able to control the RES using the remote, inside of its holster.
I was able to select DVD source, zoom in, and get the movie playing.
IN SILENCE.
I could not get the audio to play out of the speakers.
(I only have one set of headphones, and did not test them.)
Is it possible to get the DVD audio to come out of the speakers?
I tried going though the menus, but could just not find it.
Any really simple guide for a noob on this stuff?
Thanks.
Nick
