17" wheels on an 02 Ody - tires?

Looking to go to a 17x7" wheel setup on our 02. I like MB wheels from discount tire.

What size tire would you all recommend? I was thinking 245/50-17? That is the same 26.6 diameter.

What do you all think? Thanks!

245/50/17s sound fine, but you should be sure that they're not too wide and stick out beyond the fender (it also depends on the offset of the wheels). 235/55/17s might be a safer choice (I have 235/50/18s on my 2000 Ody and they are just at the edge of my fender). Plus, I could be wrong but 235/55/17s are probably less expensive than 245/50/17s, if that matters to you.

here's my 01 with TSX rims..

I have the five spoke 2004 Acura TL rims and 235/45/17 tires. It's weird cause my speedo is 5 km/h too fast and the smaller tires offset that and make it read properly. I should take pics once I swap out my winters, they look good on the second gens. Those TSX rims look really good too!
