What tires will work on 19” wheels

    I have a 2005 Odyssey.
I am going to buy a set of 19” wheels with 35 offset.
I need to know what tires will fit and not rub or rub just a little.
I’m not worried about speedometer accuracy.
    I am considering:
    235/55R19 sidewall 5.01 w= 9.25 Diameter= 29.18
    or
    245/50R19 sidewall 4.86 w= 9.65 Diameter= 28.65
    245/55R19 sidewall 5.31 w= 9.65 Diameter= 29.61
    Any suggestions are much help!!!

We have a whole dedicated Wheels/Tires forum. Try searching there. There are several people who run 19"s. Also, in the stickies there, there is a link to the tire calculator to see what each tire size will do to your speedometer etc. Also, go on tirerack and search for +3 size as factory is 16" so 19" will be +3 for your Oddy. Be sure to use EX-L as the model. Tirerack will give you the correct 19" tire size to use for the oddy.

Good luck. I am moving this to the wheels/tires forum where it belongs. Please post in correct forums in the future to prevent thread locks and welcome to the Oddyclub.

The value of a forum such as this one is not in that one can post a question and receive an answer, but in that the question has most likely been asked before, and the answer is available to him that will but only use the search function.

most members do 245/45/19. Guessing due to better tire selection. Also make sure the wheel you are getting has the right offset.

    Thanks for your replies!
I have searched the board and haven’t found the answer, I am not saying it isn’t here just that I have not found it.
The offset is 35 which is just in limits. What I am looking for are the biggest tires that won’t rub with that 19’ wheel.
Anyone know of 19” with 35 offset being run on 2005 – 2010 Odyssey?

Fair enough. It took me a bit to find this. I usually find things in the first search. This time it took about 7 or so minutes. Finally after finding related posts and then figuring out someone who is running 19" 35 offset rims, I got the following.

Post your 05+ EX & LX wheel upgrades here

Unfortunately, all the tires you listed do not match what the guy's running.

Also found a few posts saying +35 offset would be cutting it close and almost all of 'em said it has to be 19 x 8.5 if you are going +35 mm offset. So, question for you is are your 19s 8.5 or 9? If 9 I believe they might rub and to find if anyone's using 19x9 with +35 is going to be harder.

    Good luck.

I'm running 255/55/19 on my 2012 oddy. These are oem wheels and tires off an 2012 Acura ZDX. They tend to rub a little only when going over bumps at angles. But once these tires go out. I would go for a 245/45 or 50/19
