Tranny help-needed input shaft (mainshaft) speed sensor

my tranny started slipping (1st tranny at 162K) when cold and has a delayed response when switching from P to D plus a rough clunk from P to R. Besides checking/cleaning the several solenoid valves, etc. the repair manual recommends checking the input shaft speed sensor. I can see how it looks from the graph but i cant figure out if it is easy/possible to replace.

Does anyone know if replacing this sensor is an doable DIY job?

Also, i cant seem to find the part number for it. Can any one provide a part number and/or recommend a seller?

    Thanks,
    Z
