and yes i repaint it after i saw the pic haha

Hpw did you attach thw diamond log ?? I heard tapping screws but did you use anything else ??

I recently purchased another pair of Oem headlamps for a project. I was going to create a DIY thread, but I forgot to take pictures. Anyways, I opened up the housing using the oven method. Painted most of the Chrome pieces gunmetal and installed led strips. Then closed it up. I was going to take the ambers out, but decided to leave them in. Now I'm just waiting for the vinyl eyelids come arrive and I will install. Pics coming shortly.

Led strip
Gunmetal housing
Vinyl eyelids
Switchback turn signal bulbs with resistor.

This was a pretty easy mod. I watched a lit of DIY videos on YouTube. I've tried both heat gun and oven method. By far the oven has been one I have been most comfortable doing. I might do this again with the headlamp I currently have on the Ody.
