Ours have dropped pretty badly. But we have not taken it on a long drive for a while to really calculate highways miles. It is mostly driven in the town and never goes above 40 mph on the town road in its 5 mile commute. Besides it is winter and has remote start which gets used all the time.

Winter, idling, hills... all bad for the mileage.

I use a Scanguage II in my truck do help mileage... when you see you're getting 4.5mpg you tend to ease up on the gas. I've been getting more miles out of my tank. Also I can do mods and can instantly see if that helped my mpg or not. I want to get one for the ody.

Wish my Scangage had a x-gage command for the ATF temps on the ODY. Works good on the other vehicles...just not the ODY. Grrr.

My Ody never really leaves our little 5-mile radius of suburbia, so I get about 15 - 18 MPG. Which always makes me sad.

I just took a trip from Orlando to Atlanta, and I'm thrilled that I got 24.5, 24.0, and 24.0 MPG!

Working in my favor were: it's a pretty flat trip, there was just my daughter and one suitcase. However, I was averaging 77 MPH (staying with traffic.)

We usually average between 15-18 mpg doing mostly city driving with no idling.
We had a family trip from Montreal to Lake George and back and got 23.1 mpg. We were six in the minivan with luggage in the back. We were cruising at 70 mph... not bad for a 2008 EX-L with 4 year old winter tires.

Last summer we did a 460 mile trip one way in one tank and a little more to spare - which clicks to about 25 mpg. Running at 70 mph for the most part. That was after cleaning the egr ports a year ago. Before egr cleaning I was only doing 20 -21 highway at best on long trips.

I'm interested to see what everyone is getting. Just got a 2001 LX. Calculated the first tank and I got 21 which sounds about right from what I am reading here. Driving was mixed but majority was highway. Wife just took the van on a trip, all highway, so I'm anxious to see what she got.

2003 Ody with 250,000 miles. Typical shuttle mode around 17, on the freeway was 23.5 but moved to 25 with the TC-W3 oil addition. Socal to Reno runs, do a 360 mile run each way between fuelings, many trips for the calculations. Tire pressure at 41 with Michelins, two up with a good bit of cargo and 70mph or so, other freeway runs more like 75-80 but the mileage stays about the same. Power brake booster/vacuum unit last fall and the tranny at 248,000. Going to try for 300,000 - be my first vehicle to get that far.
