2002 ODY Driver Sliding door, new actuator and still wont open

I just installed a new actuator (that I purchased from my local Honda dealer) in my 2002 ODY driver side sliding door, still it wont open. I tried the lock and unlock and no action whatsoever. All the other doors; lock and unlock are working and the passenger sliding door is opening with no problems. I also pulled fuses 7 and 13, with no result. Please help. Any suggestions would be great.

The interlock with the fuel fill door may have failed. Normally the system locks the driver side sliding door when the fuel filler door is open, and also prevents unlocking it.

Just in case the new actuator is defective. you should test it by applying 12V to it.

I have tested both actuators, the old and new. Both have continuity and I even tested the micro switch inside the old actuator, it is also good. So I took the new out and put the original back in. I have checked the fuel door sensor. I push it in & there was not a click of any kind, and no effect to the sliding door. How to you test the interlock for the fuel door?

The fuel fill door switch is activated by a cable from a plunger in the fuel filler compartment. The switch is located at the other end of the cable. To test it, remove the inside panel to access the switch.
