Roof leak in multiple places (2004 Ody)

Hi,

I have a 2004 Ody I purchased 9 months ago with 60k on it, it has original factory glass and does not have a sunroof. I live near Seattle Washington and we get a lot of rain...all the time...

My daughter who typically rides in the back (third row) noticed water on the driver side wall next to her below the rear window and slightly pooling up in the cup holders. We thought perhaps the rear window was left open and wiped it up. It happened again a couple days later and I was not really able to determine the sorce. It was damp around the seal of the window

It has now been about 2 weeks and we are noticing water in the rear on the opposite side of the van (same thing, wet on the side wall right under the window, damp around the seal of the window, and cup holders have some standing water. In addition just yesterday you can now also see the headliner is damp all the way in the front corner right above the driverside left knee. Upon searching these formums I have seen the issue described with the water above the driverside knee, but it is so strange to me that there is also water leaking on both sides of the rear of the van. I am going to attempt to remove the factory roof rack bars and the rubber molding that runs the length of the van (look for the bolts and maybe remove factory sealant/reseal), but it just seems so strange to me that it is happening on left and right side of the rear van and now I can see it in the front corner. If it was just on the driverside of the van, even in the front and back, I would feel it was maybe related to one thing, but both sides?

A water leak can travel and then become noticeable in a completely different area from where it entered. Drop the headliner to identify the source of the leak then go from there.

i think i may know where your leak is coming from . when you open the tailgate door in the top there is a tube for the water of the wiper , there should be a black rubber that should be seal(connected) with the metal. just put it back in the hole. if you need a pic i will post . i had water leaking also .
