Question How to remove inside door panel?

I squashed the passenger side mirror and would like to replace it myself. I was able to locate the bolts easily, but I'm having trouble with the mirror wiring harness. It looks like the wiring harness connects somewhere behind the passenger door inside panel.

How easy is it to remove the panel? Does anyone have any instructions or, better yet, photos showing how to do it? Thanks!

web album from my mirror replacement:

Initially I was a bit intimidated with removing the inner door panel - but once I figured out how to detach the door handle from the inner handle rod the rest of the disassembly came fairly easily - the clips that hold the panel to the door pop off nicely - I did not buy the special tool but used a 1" wide putty knife and a screw driver to shim/lever and pop the clip out.

The one thing I did do wrong was in taking off the initial inside mirror mount cover I pried down from the top and snapped off the upper mounting clip - I think if you would pry up from the bottom it would come away better -

I ordered a replacement mirror and painted it with Krylon Fusion for plastic spray paint - the color is not an exact match - but close enough for me --
