    Looking to reset the "check engine" light

    I have an 1999 odyssey and was wondering how i can reset the check engine light without taking it to a shop. Isn't there is a fuse i can remove?
    1999 Honda Odyssey,bought at 109K,now at 133K

    Passenger kick panel, fuse #13 unplug for 10 seconds, re insert. Will reset ECM and erase all codes.

    Matinance required?

    How bout the matinance required light?

    You asked about the CEL....

    The maintenance light is reset differently. Hold down the reset for the trip odometer, turn ignition key to acc. position (just before cranking), wait 10 seconds, release and start car. Light should go off....

    If the CEL light is on have it read at Autozonw or another parts store to determine why it is on. If the failure is still there it will come right back on.
    The maintenance required light can be reset easily on the panel. It is described in the owners manual. If you don't have a manual check here https://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/...01_OMANUAL.asp

    Thanks for the help all! I have had the CEL read and recently replaced the cat...because of the reading... now i'm saving the money i need to replace the tranny
    thanks for the tips.
