rattling and clanking noise on front driver side tire?

wassup? I want some opinions on something I hear every morning going to work. I've got 2 issues going on: first, I hear like a clanking sound that sounds to me like it's the driver side front tire area, when I brake, it stops, and after driving a bit, I don't hear it anymore, I asked a couple of co-workers of mine about it and they seem to think that maybe the caliper needs replacing, I've heard a rattling sound around the front tires for a while as well whenever I hit bumps, I thought it was maybe the struts being worn but didn't worry about it much, and the other issue is I hear a "rubbing" sound coming from the rear brakes in the mornings going to work as well, and after a bit, it goes away, seems to happen when the car sits for a long time like overnight, any input and advice would be greatly appreciated to decide if immediate action is required and to assess how serious the problem is if at all serious as I am strapped for cash right now and can't really afford repairs, thanks everyone

Have the front and rear brakes serviced. Pay particular attention to the front driver's caliper for movement causing noises.

UPDATE: I was driving home from work and didn't feel like listening to any music, so as I was driving in silence with the windows down, I was listening to the car and the rattling as I hit bumps and realized that it makes the rattling noise when the REAR tires hit a bump, not the front, don't know if it makes a difference, but I'm trying to figure this out myself, I can't afford to take the car to a shop nor do I want to if I know I can do it myself, I just want some ideas of what might be loose around the tire areas, thanks

Just a shot in the dark, but we had a loose heat shield that rattled intermittently, mostly when the exhaust system wasn't fully warmed up. It was difficult to locate by ear.

Do you still have the OEM/stock rear brakes? If so, there was a TSB on replacement of the pad shims to stop a clicking noise from the rear brakes-- you may be having a version of that problem.

Otherwise, perhaps a broken spring/shock mount?
