How to remove cup holder

I have an 06 EX-L. Can anyone tell me how to remove the cup holder in the front dash (right under the audio controls)?

folks over at HondaSUV.com pointed me to this site, where I found the instructions for the Cup Holder Removal as part of their MP3 Player installation (pdf file - page 2)

Thanks again, but those instruction don't work either. They are for a 2004 model.

I guess I'll make a trip to the dealer and ask them.

This diagram is definitely 2005-2006. It looks like the cup holder assembly is part #008, held in by two tapping screws (#27)... total cost about $56.

I removed screws (#27) but the cup holder did not come out. Something else holding it in. I'll keep playing with it. There must be a trick to it that I'm missing.

I e-mailed the diagram to the salesman who sold me the car, who in turn spoke to the service department. They told him the dash trim/molding has to be removed... I have not yet tried to remove the cup-holder, but expected the trim would have to come off.. not sure if that helps.
