The "check airbag" light and warning came on the other day. I haven't tried hooking up my obd-II scanner yet, hoping it will read the exact problem. Does anyone know if it will? Is there a common fault on the 2005, like a sensor or switch that people are having an issue with?
I was driving our 2005 Odyssey yesterday and about 30 miles into our trip, I got the "Check Airbag" message. Perhaps this is related to the 2005 airbag sensor recall five years ago?
"CODE 46-11 RIGHT FRONT IMPACT SENSOR CODE STORED. TECHNICIAN RESET CONTROLLER AND ROADTESTED. RECHECKS OK. TECHNICIAN REPLACED 1 MISSING FENDER CLIP. SRS LIGHT ON POSSIBLY DUE TO IMPACT AT FRONT BUMPER."
I'm guessing that someone backed into our bumper hard while we were parked and it just took awhile for the warning message to appear.
