thinking of weathertech mats

Where I live and usage the original front mats are find. But I love the rear full length mat for hauling things that need it.I would think for people facing mud and snow all would be a great addition to the van.

However - I am unsure about one thing. I got the individual digital fit weathertech floor liners - not the over the hump. When installing the driver side, does the left lip go under the trim? installation instructions were not really helpful

The liners are meant to go over the trim so it can protect the trim on the door as well.
