    Rear end growling

My daughter's Odyssey has a growling in the back end, particularly at higher speeds. Any idea what it might be?

Either Tires or Bearings or both.
When I use this smilie ===> I am NOT calling you stupid.

The value of a forum such as this one is not in that one can post a question and receive an answer, but in that the question has most likely been asked before, and the answer is available to him that will but only use the search function.

    What is mileage?
    - Check tires
    - Maybe bad rear bearing?

Wheel bearings. I went through this same thing a couple of years ago at about 60,000 miles. I had the shop that sold me my tires check it first because it seemed like the tires were the problem, but it turned out otherwise. Honda replaced them under warranty. 60,000 miles is unacceptable for rear wheel bearing failure. In fact, this Honda is the only vehicle I have owned in 35 years that had failed wheel bearings. The good thing is that if they fail again they are easy to replace and not very expensive.

    - Jack up one REAR wheel at a time.
    - Don't remove the wheel
    - Spin the wheel and listen to any noises. Go to youtube and listen to some clips of bad bearing so you knows what it is supposed to sound like.
