2007 Odyssey - 3rd Row Seat Rear Plastic Latch broke

HI,

The rear plastic handle on the back of my 3rd row seat (passenger side_ larger section snapped off yesterday when attempting to pull it back into the well. Amy ideas on how to replace it and what the part number is?

I attached a pic showing what part I am talking about.

I am in the same boat as you. The part number for the outside frame that "snaps" into the seat is 82242-SHJ-A01ZE (08-10 / Grey interior) The handle (the part with the label on it) on mine did not break, so I just needed the garnish.

For an 07 - EXL the garnish is 82239-SHJ-A01ZB for a grey interior. Look up "Rear Seat Components (1)" for your 07 - Illustration #14. The handle itself is 82269-SHJ-A01ZB - illustration #23. Part Detail

Don't know how hard of a repair its going to be.. been to damned cold to mess with it! I have attached a picture of mine with the busted retainer clip circled.

How difficult was it to snap the piece off? Any recommended tools?

on mine it broke on its own so its just hanging there. I suspect I will need to remove the metal from the rear, reconnect it to the new garnish and then snap it into place. I hope to get to it this weekend as we are finally supposed to get out of the 20's
