OBD-II Port Location on '06 Ody?

I'm trying to help diagnose a check engine light for my neighbor who owns a 2006 Odyssey. I need to determine if it's something serious enough to take to a dealer or whether I can troubleshoot and repair myself. I have an OBD-II port scanner, but I cannot seem to locate the port on the van. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Can't say for sure on the 06 but it should be under the drivers side dash to the right of the steering column. That is pretty standard per EPA rules....

Yep, down low below the steering wheel, just forward of where the lower dash panel ends. Put your head down on the floor where the driver's feet go and look up toward the steering wheel and you'll see it.
