I am not an expert on, when I was doing my research, odyclub was the main source of information. I did check the relevant information regarding to 07 odyssey touring and the wheel lug size is 5x120 offset. You can look at some of the relevant info in the forum regards to anyone who owns 05 or 06 odyssey and did the depaxing. You can also look up college hill honda web site to get more info. As soon as I come across any relevant info I will pm you.

Well, I know the wheels and 235 60R-17 will work. The '05-'07 Odyssey are the same for size of wheel and tire applications. So, which Goodyear Assurance do you have? There are like three different models of Assurance. How many miles and for how long have you had them on? How are they for treadwear, handling, and quietness?

I was able to find a set of wheels from a 2012 Acura MDX. They are 18x8 with a offset of 45. The Acura dealer in my area just happened to have this take off set. perfect luck. $150 per wheel. I thought this was a great deal so I sprung.
Here is the info on the wheels
Acura MDX '10-'13, 5 spoke grey machined alloy wheel.Size: 18x8
    Lugs: 5
    Bolt Pattern: 120mm

I ordered these tires from tire rack-
    235/55ZR-18 General G-MAX AS-03

One of the two things I am missing is the TPMS.
Any advice on which TPMS part number to purchas on Tire Rack that are compatible with these wheels and my Ody

Lug Nutz- will my existing lug nuts work with these wheels?

I plan on having my local tire shop mount, balance and install them.

Also, Please let me know if you see any issues with the parts above.

    thanks for the help

This setup worked great. I ordered tpms for a 2007 ridgeline on tirerack and all is well. The center caps from the odyssey fit and we are PAX FREE!!! wooooooooooot

Well, I place the order with Tire Rack and sure enough, they called and told me that the tires and wheels selected do not match. I told them, it's ok, please send anyway and they just said, sorry, can't do that due to liability issues.

    Will they ship?

So now I am trying to consider ordering the tires, wheels and tire pressure sensors separately, I guess I will have to pay a local tire shop to put the deal together. This whole things sounds silly, I am trying to give them some good business and they refuse to take my money because the tires are not an exact match. Any other store would probably tell you: "hey, these are not the perfect fit size tires, but if you really want them, that will be $1250 , here you go ".

Please help a newbie out! I called the local Acura dealer parts department and got a pair of takeoffs for $100 each. The guy said he had de-Paxed serveral Odysseys and said these wheels will fit. They are Acura RL wheels between 2005 and 2008 (from what I have seen on eBay). They are 17 X 8 with a 5-120 bolt pattern. I know which sensors I need, but can someone verify what size tires? I have a 2007. Thanks!

Yes they will fit with 235/60/17 with 102 Load rated tires but if you have a 2007 you would need a set of mag lug nuts from the 2005-2006 Odysseys.

I thought I read that the 2007 lug nuts could be reused if you went with Honda or Acura wheels. No? Where do I get them? Honda dealer? Acura dealer?

Not with the 2005-2008 RL's wheels on your 2007 Ody. The Acura dealer that selling the RL rims may have them too, any 2005-2008 RL's lug nuts will work.

Just a quick update from TireRack. They cannot ship the depax tire combination I selected due to an improper load. I am trying to buy just the wheels now from them and buy the tires locally and have the local tire shop install them, that should not be a problem, should it ? Or is every tire shop going to tell me that the tires is not the right fit for the wheels ?

Use one of the big box stores and their lawyer stop them from selling incorrectly sized tires. An independent will help.

Thanks for the help Mike, but now I'm really confused as these lug nuts look very different. Which ones do I need?

I'm about to pick up a set of these MDX wheels with tires tomorrow. Did you end up re-using the lug nuts from your PAX wheels? How has it held up over the last two months?

    DEPAX Spare Tire kit ordered
TPMS sensors ordered - do they have to be the Ridgeline sensors or will the 06421S3VA04 fit in the MDX wheel ok?

    v/r,
    Paul

    Depax with Acura TL 17"

Just thought I'd share a recent depax experience. Have a 2007 Odyssey bought used several years ago that had relatively new PAX X-ICE tires. The X-ICE actually lasted about 30K miles before requiring replacement despite being driven throughout 2 summers.
Started out with a set of Acura 2010 TL 17" takeoffs rims I managed to get locally online for $350 total. They were 17x8 with the 5x120 bolt pattern and appropriate offset. I found a DiscountTire willing to sell/install tires for the van. A previous store I contacted was not willing to install the tires at all. On the day of install the tires I wanted to place on the van, Michelin Defender 225/65R17 (yes slightly larger diameter than PAX tires at 28.5" compared to 28.1"), DiscountTire decided they wouldn't install them due to an inadequate load rating (102). The PAX have a 104 load rating. I was able to get a set of Yokohama Avid Ascend in 235/60R17XL 103H which they would agree to install given the XL load rating and were identical in diameter to the PAX. They ordered TPMS sensors for me as well since the ones from the PAX were over 5 years old and I didn't want to mess with cutting into the tires to get them. For the spare I just ordered online from hondapartsworld for $200 (about the only place I could find one).
So all told about $1500 with 17" rims, a 75K warranty tire and replacement certificates. Maybe spent more than the average posted here but cheaper than a lot of other options I have seen.
