My opinion on your 2006 (only 2 yrs old) is wait for the 150,000 kms for the timing belt and the plugs. Severe schedule is consistently driving at -29 C. Then again, if you have the $ that you are making in the oil-rich industry of Alberta , go for it.
You "could" wait a bit? Based on the thousands of forum members and with NO confirmed breakage for Gen 2 on Ody's, this may in a slight way reinforce procrastination?
TALK TO ANOTHER LOCAL DEALER AND HE SAID THAT THE NEW 3RD ODYSSEY HAS MAINTENACE MINDER. AND IF YOU GET A CODE #4 WITH THE WRENCH THAT MEANS TO HAVE THE T BELT REPLACED ALSO THE SPARK PLUG MAN.....
