    2017 Odyssey Redesign

So, coming from a F150, Im a little green when it comes to Honda, Vans, and buying a new car for that fact. The situation dictated I needed a van, so we bit the bullet... And we dont regret getting van... Its been great so far. However, after buying the 2016 EX-L (which of all the minivans, we liked the best) I saw there was supposed to be a all new redesign for 2017. Immeidiatley, I began thinking about if I should trade up in 2017 when it goes on sale. Sounds a little ridiculous right?! But...

Have any of you guys traded in a new van for the very next model year? We plan on driving this van for many years, and Id like to get the most bang for the "brand new car" buck.

There will always be the next body style or added feature that lures the consumer back into the dealership, but the "most bang" comes from meticulously maintaining whatever you buy and driving it until it is no longer worth some major repair. If you trade one year from now that one year of driving is likely to cost you $5,000 or more vs an average of $3,000 a year over a 10 year period.
