Power sliding door not closing, how to lube?

Hey Everyone, new to the forum as I just picked up a 2011 EX. Van is great but not without its quirks.

My passenger sliding door sometimes almost closes then open again! Any ideas what the problem could be?

Does anyone have pics or details on where and how to lube the 2011 and up power doors?

    Any help is appreciated!

Since you just picked it up, you should be able to open your power sliding doors without any issues, and you really shouldn't be lubing anything on your own. Bring the van back and ask the dealer to fix the issue.

Wait-a-minute, how did you get your hands on a 2011 model? Is this a used model? Regardless, bring it back to the dealer/seller.

Bought the van used from private dealer, had no issues then intermittently started not closing.
Refuse to pay stealership for anything I can do myself, especially lubing the door. Will try to clean and re-lube and go from there. Thanks for the reply! Cheers!

I doubt it's a lubrication issue. It sounds like there is something obstructing the door and causing it to open again.

Not sure how warranty issues work with an older car bought from a private dealer.

FYI, cleaned and re-greased any moving parts of the door system. Tested operation approx. 20 times in -20c weather and worked fine. Hope this help!
