I haven't had the dealer look at this yet, but wonder if it's common. I actually have to pull the sliding door levers pretty hard to open the rear doors, but on my older 2nd gen, there's hardly any tension on the handle, much like the front doors.
This describes mine as well. Its so hard to pull the handle that out of my 3 boys (who can all open the front doors), only my oldest (6.5 year old) can get the power doors to open.
Yup, the tension is very hard on my 2016 sliding door handles. I was hoping this is a good thing -as they get used VERY frequently and over time, I'm sure things will eventually come loose, break, etc. Might as well start out "tough!"
