What are Quad seats (and other silly questions)?

I have no idea, what does it mean when they say quad seating. Also do all 2002 Odyssey EXs have the stowaway seating? Or do you have to pull the seats all the way out?

Juli, quad seating is another term for a van which has four captain's chairs. The alternative is just a bench in the second row. In the 02 Odyssey's, only the third row folds into the floor ("Magic Seat"). You have to remove the second row seats from the van if you need a clear floor behind the front seats.

All Odys at all trim levels have had a third row flip and fold. Even the 96-98. Those did have a bench seat and "quad" seating as an option. In the years you are looking at there is only small (unless something is real important to you) differences in trim levels. LXs have manual doors and manual AC controls, EXs have electric sliding doors and a set temperature AC control. EX-Ls just add leather seating surfaces to the regular EX.

The second row seats are really easy to remove and don't even weigh that much. They also slide together or apart.

I dont know those captains chairs were pretty heavy to me at least bulky and im a small guy at 5'6" 165lbs.
