My tuner on my 2006 Odyssey factory Am/Fm stock 6-disc CD changer started randomly changing stations a couple weeks ago. Instead of pulling it at the dealership to send in for repair at at estimated $300-$500 I'm considering replacing the unit with a single CD/mp3 player that costs $100-$200 installed free at Car Toys. But they said it would disable my hand controls on the steering wheel unless I pay an extra $180.00 for te technician to wire it in to the unit. Instead, I can buy a stereo online, trim-kit, and install it ourselves but Im wondering if a wiring plug is available for the steering wheel to tie into the stereo unit I buy to make it easy to connect? I can't seem to find one online. If anyone can point me in the right direction or simply answer my question I'd appreciate it.
