new owner w/ many questions

Hello all, I just purchased a 2000 Odyssey EX, my first entry into the Odyssey world. After giving the van a thorough cleansing, I came up with several questions. The search tool on the forum was very useful and most of my questions have already been answered, here are a couple that still remain:

Are there supposed to be plastic caps to cover the seat anchors when you remove the middle seats? If so, where is the cheapest place to purchase these caps? Does anyone have the part numbers by any chance?

The rubber/foam around my steering wheel has separated from the inside ring so that I can twist it back and forth around the steering wheel. This makes my grip on the steering wheel very loose and it is doubtful that installing an aftermarket steering wheel cover would solve the problem. Is there a quick fix for this?

Do you have to remove the dash to replace the cruise control lights like you do for the clock light, or does the cruise control switch pop right out?

Is there any consensus as to best liner for the area behind the third seat?

Thanks in advance for all your help. Hopefully, after getting my hands dirty, I will be able to return the favor to others.

See this link for striker covers:

No real good repair for the delaminated steering wheel that I've had success with. I found a good replacement for my Civic steering wheel on ebay. I believe a read a post of someone having success by inserting epoxy glue with a syringe needle. You may want to do a search for thqat post.

Search on the cruise control light, I know there have been several posts on it.

No opinion on the best liner.

Some answers\comments

Take a look at Hand A Accessories

http://www.handa-accessories.com/odyint01.html

Striker Covers:

You'll notice the link in the response above that the item #8 is a 3/4 cover. Unless I do not see it, it is not easy to tell how the numbered items merry-up with the parts numbers on the next page.

Oddly, they do not make a full cover when you remove a second captain's seat. I purchased two 3/4 covers and cut off 1/3 of it and then put 2 of them together to cover the entire anchor when the chair is removed. The 3/4 cover is part numer 83309-S0X-A00ZX (the "X" depends on the color) "Cap, seat striker cover C". The 83308-S0X-A00Z"X" is the smaller cap cover number. They can be found at the above link.

Steering Wheel:

There are steering wheel "covers" at the above site but I'm not sure a new wheel or fix for your issue.

Liner:

The trunk\bed liner is referred to as a "cargo tray and can be found at H and A for about $70. I wish I bought mine earlier in the Ody's life. Fruit punch doesn't come out of the carpet easily enough.
