Is this a waste of money??...anyone use software tuning on their Van?

There might be gains but I doubt you would feel much in the SOTP. Not worth the money IMHO.

If it was a diesel chip then that's another story.

interesting. it "tunes" the engine for optimal efficiency. If so, then why didn't the Honda engineers design the computer originally to do this?!

If it were true how long do you think the Honda tranny would last????

As said before if on a diesel probably yes. On gas engines some gains but not much over 6 to 10 hp. Now if on a turbo some minor ecu tuning and you can get big gains. On my Subaru STi I can get big gains without much problem, but not for 70 bucks.
