This little mod starts with a
couple of pieces of steel rod and some vinyl tubing.
Bend a suitable hook into each
end. One will hook to the headrest, the other end will support the net.
....then slide the vinyl tubing
in place to protect the seat from the bracket.
Hook one end around the inboard
shaft of either outside rear headrest.....
.....then lower the headrest.
Repeat on the other side, attach
the net to the existing hooks and the new hooks and now you have a hammock
net, just like those fancy new 2002s!
If you need a little more
support for a heavier load, pull the center headrest and replace it
through the net.....
....then lower and you now have
a little more support, if needed.
Come to think of it, another
piece of rod and some more tubing results in...
...a center support that wraps
around the center headrest.....
....providing much more support.
Like so.
