    My poor jinxed Ody

So I was thinking about that first scratch on your Ody thread and how I hadn't got mine yet, and I got jinxed . . .maybe.

The front of the Ody was all bug covered yesterday and I told my husband we should wash it while we were in town even though we are usually wash at home type folks. He didn't feel like washing it in one of those bays so he did the automatic wash. I don't know what happened but something went wrong. We were pulling forward (as the lights told us we were supposed to) and the sprayers came down to start washing. Thunk! Right on my Ody. I couldn't even get my door open. We were honking the horn but the attendant was nowhere to be found so Mr. PriceIsRight had to get out and go get him (and got soaked in the process). I have to give this poor kid working there credit. He was able to lift the sprayer up so we could pull up without scratching up the van or ripping off my mirrors or anything.

We don't see any damage but I need to get a ladder and double check the roof. And I will be paying a visit to the owner of that car wash because I would hate for that to happen to someone else and have it cause real damage. Not to mention nearly give them a heart attack like it did me.

    So Cal
You'll probably get free carwashes for life, but I know what you're thinking, "so what I wouldn't go there again!" Neither would I.

    Ugh, that sounds awful.
We've got a local manual carwash where you use a pressure washer and just pay for the minutes you're using for waxing, washing, rinsing etc.

    However, my deepest condolences.
