Here are the pages from the 06 manual. You can look up the part # on any Honda part site or just stop by at a dealer.

Thanks OdyMember. I only have the 2007-2010 manual and posted that before realizing that the transmission is totally different. His code, per your manual, is for the torque converter clutch solenoid. The code means something different on the 07-10 model. My bad...

I just bought a 2005-2006 manual so this doesn't happen to me again. I've needed it a few times on customer cars so I might as well have it on hand.

    OK - now....
    1) Ebay says the part numbers for TC solenoid valve B&C are 28400-P6H-003 and/or 28500-P6H-003. Could anyone confirm that, pls?
    2) Is solenoid valve B (the one I want to change) accessible from the top of engine bay or from the bottom of the van ?

You’re not going to buy this part on eBay i hope? I would not take the risk for an important part like this. Go to the Majestic or Bernardi web sites to find the correct part number. You can probably get a genuine Honda part there for a very low cost.

Bernardi shows the part numbers for the A& B solenoids in that location as 28400-P6H-013 and 28500-P6H-013. In that location the diagram above shows "Solenoid B" and "Torque converter clutch solenoid" and it appears the solenoid B is in the front location. If I had to make a best guess I'd say the Torque Converter solenoid is the "A" solenoid, since it specifies the B and the TCC solenoid in that diagram, which would make the part number P28400-P6H. I definitely would NOT buy one on eBay unless I was sure it was a genuine part. It's not difficult to change so if it fails you're not out a lot of time but I'd want to do the job just once and not have it fail again in the near future because it's a low quality part.

any update? what is your previous ATF change before you frequently change them? multiple change might cause slipping. Sb says Valvoline MaxLife ATF fixes it.
