    Name this yellow thing

I found a yellow thing while cleaning some leaves out of the plastic shield around my front passenger wheel well. No idea what it could be.

I don't recognize that at all. Are you sure it's part of your van? Does it have any markings or stampings on it?

I believe it's one of the windshield side molding clips, not 100% sure.

Windshield was replaced in 2017, so this seems perfectly plausible. Thanks!

Yes trim clip. They pop out if not careful. I wonder if your installer missed this one or replaced the original ones. Ideally they can be reused but more than often they get damaged when removing the trim. I bet your installer just missed it or worse case removed it to have fewer clips to deal with.
