Hello all, the light that is the picture of a deflated tire is not lit, only the lettering. All 4 sensors have now been changed but the light remains. Can anyone help?

Thank you,

Ravi

The TPMS light means there is something wrong in the system. If you replaced all the sensors, then it is not likely any of the sensors. But it could be the TPMS control unit.

To be sure, you will need to use a scanner tool that is capable of reading the TPMS trouble codes. Generic OBD2 scanners cannot do this. The Honda dealership can use their HDS tool to do that. A tire shop may or may not have the tools to do it.

If you want to buy a tool yourself, I have a Foxwell NT510 with the Honda software, which can read all the codes, including TPMS.

Who replaced the sensors and where did they come from? New sensors have to be programmed in with the Honda tool. Some newer cars may pick up new sensors and maybe the Touring can but not the EXL, that model is a manual process.

That's right, if you just change them, the van has no idea what the frequencies are for the new sensors.
The Touring model has a system that can 'learn' the codes, but the EX and EXL models are 'dumb' and can't learn.

So, you have to have someone at the dealer re-learn the codes into the TPMS ECU (probably $90-$100),
or you can get "clonable" sensors like I did which can be programmed with the original sensors codes.
This way I can swap the OE wheels with my aftermarket wheels without having to re-code or look at a TPMS light.

I have 08 Odyssey LX in Bay area CA. and TPMS often got a flu, at winter time it come then off 2 wks then come 2wks, then off for more than 6 months, I changed new tire a year ago when forgot the TMPS.
1)any body use ebay factory TPMS sensor? I'm not sure their battery are new or not.
2)Where can I get "Learnable sensor" and use which tool to learn?
3)If I get chance to replace its battery, do I still need to relearn them?
thanks!

1) The listing will say if the item is new or used.

2) I made a video about programmable sensors that I used:
But there are other brands too.

3) I haven't seen any sensors that have replaceable batteries. I tried to take one apart once (it's not easy) to see if I could change the battery, but it didn't work with a new battery and I'm not sure why. I might have damaged it while taking it apart.

Hahaha now that i think of it I dont even have a spare tire .. But the tpms is on
If you don't have a spare tire because you have the Touring model with the PAX tires, you should read through this thread on getting rid of the PAX tires/wheels:

"3) I haven't seen any sensors that have replaceable batteries. ""Batteries are not replaceable. "
I changed two batteries on my 08 Odyssey TPMS, one 2.8xV another 2.6xV, after 2nd changed TPMS light goes off.
Aliexpress has external TPMS sensors along with a small display that shows various pressure unit and car battery voltage, they are used to replace tire valve cap, battery can be replaced in a minute.

Those external sensors are a different story. I was talking about internal sensors that work with the vehicle's TPMS. Were those internal sensors that you replaced the batteries in? If so, which brand of sensor and how did you do it?

NEED reset tool to registed the new sensor you installed.
one option is to buy a tool, second is to bring to a tire shop that they do reset or just bring to the dealer.
