Centric front rotors, any good?

Just ordered these rotors. Did anyone had experience with them?

Drove to FL from Toronto, took me 24 hours. Almost everything was fine, even my Continental TB didnt give up. But front rotors did, because I-75 in and around Kentucky was CRAZY, I dont recommend this route to anyone. I-77 is way easier to drive on.

I have front and rear centric rotors on my 2010. (front 120.40064 and rear 120.4007) Front has OEM pads and the rear has akebono pads. So far so good.

I did Centric rotors and ceramic pads last year. I think they are great. I liked the way the rotors had a painted edge.

I used Centric Premium rotors and Centric Posi-Quiet pads when I did brakes on our '10 at 94k. That was 20 months and 37k miles ago. Aside from a good bit of brake dust, i'm very happy with their performance and durability so far. I also replaced the parking brake shoes because one of them had no friction material on it at all. It looked like it was built that way.

I did the Centric cryo-treated slotted rotors and pads on my Odyssey over a year ago. I absolutely love them. Virtually no brake dust and really outstanding performance. The first stop on a cold morning is the same as OE pads, but subsequent stops when the pads have a little heat in them have noticeably more 'bite.'

I did the cryo rotors after 'warping' two previous sets of rotors (actually the pedal pulsing is generally caused by pad deposition, but that's another discussion) - I drive my Odyssey harder than 99.5% of people, and still no pulsing pedal. Would be a helpful upgrade for those who tow or carry heavy loads with their Odysseys. The cryo rotors are worth every penny, in my opinion.

I'm contemplating the 120.40064 disks for the front but may go with the OEM pads. Odd that Honda lists 2 part numbers for the front pads with no other details that I can see: 45022-SHJ-405 & 45022-SHJ-415. Some posts seem to say the OEM pads were not very good though but that may be earlier gen 3. Decisions decisions.

I am using Centric rotors on both Accord and Odyssey. OEM on Odyssey and not and OEM on Accord (not sure which brand, auto shop did it for me). My Odyssey stops much better. I heard good thing about akebono and will try someday.

Centric rotors with existing and Akebono proact pads great combo! 3 1/2years still smooth and sure stops.

I just installed the coated Centric Rotors and Akebono pads (fronts) and they feel absolutely amazing! I am blown away at how good the van stops now. Feels like it's going to do a stoppie! [emoji23]

I used my canadian unknown brand front pads ( because they were almost new), still feels good not to have that damn vibration while stopping )

Will install Akebono pads next time.

I had Centric rotors and Akebono ceramic pads on the front of my 2003 Chrysler Town and Country. Seemed to work fine. No dust and no rust!

In Feb I got the Centric Cryo-Treated Pilot rotors with the Akebono pro-act ceramic pads. No brake dust and smooth as butter stops, im hoping they last a long time.

Did you install Pilot's brakes on Odyssey?

Akebono is a Japanese company, but where the pads are made is another question.

Interesting info, I think I'll give these pads a try seeing some seem to dislike the OEM pads. I don't think I can spring for the $90 each cryo disks though. I have other things that need money on this car.
