I didn’t see this posted anywhere. I have the EX model and the radio is okay with the exception of the dreaded ‘USB initializing’. I’ve put on about 4K miles so the sound system should be broken in by now. Despite having a bunch of settings for high, mid, low and sub it sounds pretty flat. Turns out it’s just like many of the other Honda Android systems. They apply a EQ curve to probably protect the speakers and make sure they last the life of the vehicle. Tucked away in the Diagnostic menu (power+brightness+home) - Amplifier Control menu is ‘Manual EQ selection’ with about 10 different sound profiles. This is where I changed it to OFF or Uncompressed. It sounds a lot better in my opinion. Might be worth a try if you thought that factory system was lacking. I don’t think this is a persistent menu change so you might have to change it every time but better than nothing.

p.s. if you google ‘dsp flat’ you’ll get a lot more info
