Ugh.. I sliced the wire when I was removing the bolt to replace the driver side front sway bar. Please go easy on the comments..
Anyway, I'm assuming it can't be spliced and the whole harness needs to be replaced. I will follow the wire up into the engine but looking for some guidance as to where to look first. 2012 Odyssey EX-L. Part number 57455TK8A01.

Thanks

It got cut above where the ABS sensor connects to the harness? You can probably still repair it with a bit of skill, a soldering iron, etc.

Yes well above.. I'm not sure if this wire can be soldered. Can it? I would prefer to replace if the position of the engine side connector is convenient.

Thanks for your input.
all been there... Solder repair the wire, liquid electrical tape over the solder repair, and some shrink tube over that should do the trick.

grab a pic and post it.
says a 1000 words.

I took a look at the diagrams/pictures - the connector for the ABS sensor is actually back up inside the engine bay, right where it pops through the strut tower. Basically right below the brake master cylinder on the frame rail... Maybe you don't have to repair anything and can just get a new sensor.

Thanks Charlie... There's so many covers in the Odyssey engine bay that makes it difficult to see. Is the connector easily accessible? Do I have to remove the battery box or the air filter?

Based on the instructions in the above post, probably not. It will be fairly 'deep' below/behind the airbox though. Worst case, it might be more accessible with the airbox top removed.

Hmm.. I assumed I have to snake the harness up into the engine bay to attach the connector. Based on the diagram above it looks like I can attach the connector via the wheel well, which hopefully is true. I'm waiting on the part but will update when received.
On a side note, the automatic side doors also do not work when the engine is running. It must be checking the car speed and disabling for safety reasons. They work fine when car is off.

correct assessment... its all related.

I successfully replaced harness via the wheel well. ABS light went off and the doors now work fine again. The VSA light remains on though. Any ideas what could be causing this?
Thanks
According to the Honda tech I talked to last time I got service, the Ody throws out the VSA light basically anytime something goes wrong just to protect more.

Thanks for the info, everyone!
