I’m supposed to trading in my van and the screw on the key fob fell out tonight and I can’t find it.
anyone know what I need to replace it?
The other remote should have the same size screw which you can take to your hardware store may be?

It is a tiny metric screw. Honda does not stock it separately. The type of screw is used to put laptop computers together. You could try a computer repair or supply store. Or, you could try a thrift shop and buy an as is laptop for $2. Next would be a salvage yard. Try calling a Honda dealer and ask if they have any obsolete non working fobs they would let you have the screw from. Perhaps even a jewelry store.

If you're trading it in, why do you care? Tape it together and hand it over. As long as the fob works, you're fine.

I ended up getting a shell-only replacement for the fob-key combo on my Accord since the OEM Honda plastic is extremely brittle. It was held together with 3 Torx screws.

I have a silicone cover on my keyfobs for this reason. The keys get banged up and I don’t think they will last on their own.

Here's an option I have yet to see anyone mention: Amazon.com: Rpkey 6 button Silicone Keyless Entry Remote Control Key Fob Cover Case protector Replacement Fit For 2011 2012 2013 Honda Odyssey N5F-A04TAA 3248A-A04TAA 35118-TK8-A20 35118-TK8-A30 35118-TK8-A40: Automotive
It's a fob case cover that's fits super tight over your. When putting the cover on just insure you hold the fob locked in place as you're stretching the cover over it. The cover also has the added benefit of being waterproof and it's available in different colors. Another bennie is when it comes to replacing the battery, you won't have to unscrew the fob once you get the cover off. LOL. As another poster had mentioned fob cases are available on Amazon (without the guts). In other words it's just the case without the key and internal electronics. The only drawback for the cover is it can be a bear when fitting it over your original case, it's a really tight fit, but it insures your keyless remote buttons all work flawlessly.

you have no worries, I have traded in cars with just my valet key with no remote, but if you want do want to get it fix, the screw is available at any eyeglass shop or computer store. If I were you, I would just tape over it or hand it over without the screw, the dealers really don't mind or would lower the price.
