3rd row seat can't fold

The 3rd row seat of my 00' odyssey can't fold into the cargo well. It was working fine and I used it for moving. It just happened when I wantd to fold and carry some cargo, it couldn't fold. Has anyone ever ran into such a problem?

Do you mean the seat back will not fold down or that the whole seat will not fold into the floor?

Actuall, I have not heard of this problem either way. Sounds like the release lever is broken. Can you remove the lever and inspect the linkage in there?

I had this happen on mine and it turned out to be one of the cables came loose out of the handle. Only one of the two latches was releasing.

It seems this problem has happened often to some people. I was able to get help from the forum "Problem and concerns, under-Third row 'magic' seat won't disappear." It seems this can happened any time.

Shah did you get the problem resolved? I had something similar.. I have to kind of push the seat along a little to get it to fold in. It folds in perfectly with the single seat (the passenger side), but the 2 seats that are connected together on the drivers side need a little help from me. Its annoying because the advertisements make it seem so "magical".

WinnipegJetsFan80, this is a 15 year old thread. I don't think Shah's here anymore. And what do you mean the "single seat" and driver side/passenger side? The first and second generation third row seat is just one seat. Or do you have a different year? Post your question in the section for your model year.
