Wow, I am appalled hitting your sensitivity, I am hoping you open up sometimes, I did explain the benefit of your muzzling and not knowing, you also want to muzzle other people's thinking... There is nothing wrong in what I stated here, unless you have financial interest in muzzling..
Consider this as your last warning. Next bump or Muzzling post will be deleted without warning. Too many of them will yield you a vacation.

Well I have the OTC leakdown tester and the OTC Deluxe compression tester. The problem is these vans use a new narrow plug thread pitch (I think M12). And I was afraid to use a thread adapter on the end of the M14 hose. Because if the thread adapter gets left behind in there, you won't be able to get a socket on it to unscrew it. So I opted to find a used snap-on quick connect hose with the correct thread pitch. :/

My 05 TL still has the older M14 threaded plugs. No special hose or adapter required for that one.

"You will lose the Eco mode" you say that like it is a bad thing. I personally would like my V-tech back. I loved that extra kick. Some of us like to drive, briskly shall we say, and do not need or want a nanny on our engines. I get 26MPG driving like a bat outa hell with a muzzled engine. Excessive wear? I have personally dumped these engines long before they wore out.
I did not say bad thing, it is you in plain English. I only described what happen between muzzled and unmuzzled..

Nearly 200k miles, and muzzled since 60k. Just measured between 0 and 2% leakdown on all 6 cylinders. The idea of added wear is bogus!
I dont know what fantacy engine you have.. because no matter what, muzzled or not, it eventually leak oil at 200k mileage.. its like you claim you never have wrinkled skin at age 70, unless you use a magic "6 in 1 cream".

So what is a good leak down tester with the correct thread pitch for the Ody?

The hose you need is snap-on part EEPV5G12L. Also comes as part of the EEPV500 compression tester set. This Honda site is a bit overpriced for snap-on tools. But at least you can see them.

Thx for the link!

Many years ago, I bought a compression tester from HF. Used it once or twice. One of its hoses matches the thread pitch of Ody plugs—M14x1.25–according to the product specs at HF website. When I get a chance, I’ll take a look at the tester.

Thx again for the info!

I'm quite certain 11-17 plugs have M12 threads.
Looks like the 3rd gen is M14. The following is the link to RA's page on NGK IZFR5K-11.

EDIT: Looks like the OTC leak down tester comes with a 24" M14 flex hose out of the box. No need for me to use the M14 flex hose from the HF compression tester.
