Hello all,

I would like a true silver or dark grey new Odyssey, but it does not seem like Honda makes one. However, I came across this one at a dealer's website in their used inventory. Can anyone identify it? I don't see it on Honda's website. I'd like to buy a new one like it.

Thanks.

That is indeed sage brush pearl, and one of its many hues is a grayish color, also may look green, or blue from other angles and/or lighting. It also blends well with any black trim(i.e. mudguards) or as in the LX with black handles, spoiler, etc...

i vote for sagebrush also. and they are asking WAY too much $$$$ even in hawaii standards.

It says Gray in the description, but Odys don't come in dark gray. I agree with everyone else ... sage brush!! :)

it's 100% sage brush pearl!

We bought our '06 Sage Brush Pearl Ody EX at this dealer last month. I drove by the dealer this afternoon and saw this van sitting in the used car lot.

Now I know why we got a good deal on our new van...they make a killing on their used vehicles. Asking over $30,000 for an '05 EX with almost 12,000 miles on it? Crazy.:duh:

The whole name is Sage Brush Pearl. It's kind of a muddy teal grey with specs of green and pink. Thus the pearl name. Our's once even looked green in the shade of a campground. It's the color most closely matched to the Olive interior. It's only "grey" to a valet or a police officer.

Oh, asking prices do not necessarily result in sales.

I don't know if they are asking too much on that one, but I know my old '05 EX-L RES Sage/Ivory is listed for 25,983 with 27K miles, and it seems to be a pretty good price.

So Campngolf,

Since I'm shopping at this dealer, how well did you do on your new EX?

Thanks!

Here's what I posted in the "Prices Paid" thread:

After a week of internet dealing with 3 local dealers, we are now the proud owners of an '06 EX purchased this afternoon in Sacramento.

Here's the important details:

$26,034 - van (includes dest. charge of $550)
$ 1,024 - tow package
$ 691 - rear sensors
plus tax, title and license fees.

All-in-all, I was very satisfied the way things went at the dealership. Making the deal over the internet is the way to go. It's nice to have several dealers playing against each other.

Now to get started on the mods.

I emailed all the local dealers and Yuba City and Vacaville. Internet dealing is the only way to go. We went to Rapton to look the vehicle over and test drive. Then went to work via email.

Shoot me an email at "dlznk at yahoodotcom" if you want more details. We dealt with 2 different salesmen and they both were easy to deal with and didn't jack us around, too much.

Good luck in your search.
