That was one of the best replies I seen in a long time. Thanks for pointing out that it we can't anticipate all problems that may be encountered on a road trip. Somtimes being unprepared has its own rewards, usually in the form of a great and unexpected adventure. When I look back on my travels, the best stories usually center around a problem that came up for which we were totally unprepared. Maybe that's a idea for another thread - best road stories when you never thought you'd make it home alive.

I do like the pontoon idea though.

yeah, but I'm serious. ;) ;) I'm glad my warped sense of humor was understood. :D

I only took the extra car and enough tools to overhaul the one I was driving and full camping gear with portable generator when I drove GM. Now that I'm cured from domestics, I just take the GPS because I'm a guy and will not ask for directions. Now I have room for the bikes, skates, inlines, lacrosse sticks, ball gloves, and 40 lbs of camera gear.

Without a doubt, the funniest thing I've ever read on this board. Good job, JyRO.

Number two funniest would be when I posted that some of the people on this board act like they conceived, engineered, designed, and built the Honda Ody themselves in their own garage.

Wild Willy's reply..."I love you Steve"

Thanks Steve. Glad nobody has taken offense (yet).
