who makes motorcraft oil?

Just in my local auto store they have 5 qt jug of motorcraft 5-20w premium synthetic blend for $9.97, recommended for ford,lincoln mercury, should be fine for honda? Any thoughts.seems like a great price, even mislabelled, maybe.TIA

I always thought Ford has owned them from day one.

yeah Ford has always owned Motorcraft,name and products, but i'm pretty sure they are not refining their own oil. Harley same thing, lotsa manufacturers do it.

I forget who makes it but it has posted really good results on used oil analysis. Seems to be a very good oil at a great price. goto www.bobisthoilguy.com for more info.

Lot of people happy with the price and the results on analysis. I would say, go for it.
