Does anyone know where the factory XM tuner in this car is? This is fully loaded. Nav, overhead, changer. The tuner is suppose to be under the drivers seat. Thats where the Nav is. I have looked all over. There is suppose to be a plug in the drivers kick by the fuse box. No such luck. Other places I tried was behind the glove box, passenger kick panel, at radio, and at the screen. No luck at any of these places.

If you've got the EX-L with nav/res, it's got the XM tuner installed at the factory, not afterwards. The factory XM tuner is located just forward of the spare tire, in the wall behind the trim panel on the third row driver's side. There's no 14-pin socket near the fuse panel, since it's not needed, because nobody's going to add an accessory XM tuner.

Vans without the factory XM tuner may have an accessory tuner installed by the dealer (or by someone else). The accessory XM tuner is designed to go under the driver's seat. It uses the 14 pin socket located near the fuse panel -- this socket is only present if there was no factory installed tuner.

where can I find an XM tuner that will fit under the seat properly (that is where the connector is, right)?
The connector is only there if someone put it there.

If you bought a van with a factory XM tuner, the tuner and its connector aren't under the seat, but they're behind a panel on the side of the van, just forward of the spare tire compartment.

If you bought a van without a factory XM tuner, then the only connector is by the fusebox. There's no XM antenna anywhere on such a van. The easiest (though perhaps not cheapest) way to add XM to such a vehicle is to buy the Honda Accessory XM tuner, which comes with the tuner, wiring harness, antenna, and some brackets and hardware to put it all together. The wiring harness is needed to go from the bus connector that's near the fusebox to the connector that plugs into the XM tuner below the seat.

Install instructions that describe exactly where everything goes and how to put it there can be found on handa's site, here. The Honda accessory XM tuner is available at any Honda dealer, or handaaccessories.com.
