I cannot seem to get the second row, middle seat (sorry, forget the funky name for this seat) to store in the area under the carpet, behind the first row. There is a storage area there, and it says it fits in there, but for the life of me, can't get it in there.

Any ideas??

Thanks alot
Cheryl

After sitting in the garage for two years, I finally had a need for the .... what's it called ? ... plus one seat, anyway, darned if I didn't need to get the manual out just to figure out how to raise the seat back into upright position. This is not a "user friendly" device :) .... and trying to stuff it into it's hole, haven't even tried that yet.

Makes me wonder how much extra we had to pay for this thing. There had to be a lot of R&D ($) to invent it.

1. Pull Plus one seat out, need to fold back down
2. Fold legs down
3. Move both front seats forward
4. Open the storage area door
5. Point the Plus one seat into the storage area with the headrest going in first
6. Using the handle at the back of the plus one seat, push the seat into the well

(at this point the door of the storage area will start to go up, this is the reason the front seats needs to move forward.)

7. once the seat is in, put the plus one seat cushion in on the side.

I usually put the plus one seat towards the passenger side and the cushion on the driver side.

My plus one seat sits in a place of honor.....in my basement.

I have yet to use it.

Our plus one seat is almost always in. It serves to block the isle, keeping the dogs in back when they ride, and as a place for the kids to put stuff between them. Occasionally we do have a passenger there too. Our third row is rarely up tho.
