I just replaced my fronts with Michellins I bought at Walmart. They perform well, but "squeak" a bit when the windshield is minimally wet. I couldn't find any replacement for the rear, so I'll need to purchase a replacement blade from the dealer. In hindsight, I should have just purchased replacement inserts.

Trico makes a replacement for the rear, I just got one at Advanced Auto.

Don't bother with the Michillen Latitudes...they don't last long...and they make noise...at 16 bucks a piece not worth it!!!....Dam Costco why can't you carry sizes for the Odyssey!

BOSH ICONS are the way to go. I like to buy them when they are on sale at Advanced Auto parts. I have had them on all of my cars in the past and never had to replace them in the time that I owned the cars. I now have them on my van, lets see how long they last.

I replace mine once per year and use the Honda replacements. I'm very happy with them. I believe they are about $7 a pair.

My driver side BOSCH ICONS continues to lift when I am at speeds of 55mph or higher. I took them back and AutoZone happily replaced it with another (thinking the one I got may have been a defective), but the second BOSCH ICONs still is lifting.

So are you telling me you BOSCH ICONS for your 05+ Odyssey performs well at highway speed?

Let me know.

yes they do perform wonderfully. I love them. So quiet and work so well. I haven't had any problems with them. I live in GA and the humidity usually wears out the wiper blades faster than I would like, but the ICONS hold their own and look great. No fading either.

lifting sounds more like the spring of the windshield wiper arm isn't strong enough.
In all the cars I've owned, I've never had to replace the spring or arm because of lifting. I suppose there's always a first, but it's just never happened to me before.

Is this common on the Odyssey?

I've been stuck in this never-ending rain here in Virginia and it's made for an excellent test for my new Michellin blades.

So far, they squeak all the time. They do clear the windshield very well. BUT, they do a horrible job at cleaning insects, bird droppings, etc.

Trico Flex..worthless!

Update: Trico "Flex" are worthless. They are the beam-style and the issue is they sit in front of the wiper arm if that makes sense to you. They make quite a bit of noise due to vibration. Worthless. Will replace with RainX, Michelin, or similar sub-$10 blades.

Chan_man... I've bought these too and they are definitely good wipers. I have them on another car and now on my '06 Ody. The problem I'm having it that the driver side wipers seems to lift when I'm driving over 45 mph during the down-stoke. I can almost assume its the wind dynamics since the wiper is solid and catching air. Anyway to fix this?
I just went and put ICONs on my 07 Ody. I've had them on my other cars and LOVE them. When I lookedd there were two versions For example number 422A and 422B. 22 is the length (in this case the passenger side) but the A and B looked like they were different profiles. Like the "aerodynamic shape" was reversed. I had them look up the right part numbers (since their catalog was vintage 2005 on the shelf) and I needed the A for the drivers and B for the passenger. When I put them on, they were both the same direction on the profile versus the car direction. (Like they'd both push down in the wind). Are you certain you didn't get the wrong A/B profile and the wind is lifting them versus pushing them down?

we're starting to get our heavy rainstorm here in socal..well the piaa's are still performing flawless.. (purchased dec 08')

Forget what I said. I started to notice the same on mine when it rained today. I found this in another thread about the same issue. Seemed to fix mine.

I had mine installed by the dealer last Wednesday when it was raining and I noticed that it doesn't clear during the down stroke. I went back to the dealer and checked the difference of the 08. I found out that the 08 doesn't have the wiper blade guide/holder attached to the driver side arm ( click this part#15 in the illustration). By removing this from the arm fixed the problem:stupid: [/QUOTE]

I just picked up 26" Goodyear Assurance wipers for the drivers side and 22" for the passenger side. I noticed that there is some smearing on the driver's side where the mount it. Is anyone else experiencing this same issue?

I just had a bad experience with a Michellin blade. I usually just use ANCO blades, but the store ran out of driver side size, so I got the more expensive Michellin blade. I changed the passenger and rear with the regular ANCO blades at the same time. A few months later, the Michellin blade needs to be replaced, while the plain ANCO blades are still good. I saved the original blades so I can get the OEM refills next time.

BTW, anyone have good/bad experiences with wiping Rain-X or silicon spray on the wipers? Doesn't Rain-X lead to premature wiper decay? Anecdotally, I concur.

OT, I noticed my plastic roof rack covers were cracked (tons of microcracks), probably from sun exposure. The 2 foot plastic in the front and the 3 inches in the back suffered the most. The part under the actual roof rack was less affected. I had some Honda silicon spray, so gave it a shot and it seemed to help. Also wiped a little on the vertical plastic piece between driver and sliding doors. Is this going to help or damage these plastic parts? What do people use to protect these parts anyway?

Just a quick FYI. There is a seller on ebay (scholfieldhonda) selling sets of OEM wiper refills for $15.50 with free shipping. I recently ordered a set and received them very quickly.
