Gen1 friends,
I remember I visited the Honda Odyssey page on wikipedia.org and the Gen1 section was just a lame paragraph ending in something like "not a sale success".
I went to wikipedia today and surprise! Someone totally rewrote that page, with a lot more info on the different generations, both North America and JDM. Has all the details on transmission issues in the Gen2.
The Gen1 part will make you proud, it includes the development story (the "personal jet" for the masses) and the great features it introduced (GradeLogic, all wishbone, folding 3rd seat, etc.) Even why it was picked as taxi choice in NY over a large sedan: rear air! Very cool:
