It has stopped working. I Checked the thirteen pin connector on the passenger fuse box and it is tight and the terminals look good. Right now I only have the abs, brake light and vcm lights on . All gauges are dead and backlight is not working. Anyone have any ideas or experienced this before?

I wold like to tell you how I fixed it but I do not know. I checked the connector at the fuse box and it was good so I removed the instrument panel and tested for powers and grounds at the panel and I had all of them. So I removed the back of the cluster and checked the circuit board it all looked good. I put it all back together and tada the thing is working. It must have been a bad connection at the cluster I do not know. I was not concerned a lot with the instrument cluster except it is on the bus network and when it goes out it will cause for the air conditioning not to work. Here's hoping for a long fix.

How difficult is it to remove the intrument cluster?
I had our intrument cluster replaced on a 2007 Ody when it was imported to Canada. The temperature guage occasionally sticks at the half way mark when you shut the van off. The next time the vehicle is started, the temp needle starts from the half way point and when it warms up it reads hot

Well I found the answer to my question about how difficult it is to remove the instrument cluster!
It took me about 10 to 15 minutes. It was much easier than I expected. Kinda pissed that I payed a shop to install it the first time 3 years ago.
I cleaned the wiring harness and pins and made sure the temp needle moved freely.
So far problem solved. Hope it stays that way!

Funny to find another Kansas City member with the same problem that we came home to.

Short Version:
We came back after a ten day vacation and the Ody, while a bit harder to start, started but had the VSA, ABS, and Brake lights illuminated and nothing else.

The power sliders didn't work, the power locks would unlock (weakly) but not unlock. The power seats worked, but the memory settings didn't. Nav, Radio, sunroof, and wipers all worked, but the A/C didn't, etc

The battery read 12.4 across the terminals, and no fuses were blown anywhere on the main, drivers, or passengers boxes.

I disconnected the battery, then, on the advice of this thread, pulled the larger harnesses apart, blew them out with compressed air, and looked for corrosion.

After reconnecting the harnesses and the battery terminal, the dash lit up just fine, and all systems functioned normally.

The tip off to me was the VSA, ABS, and brake lights being on simultaneously in both the OP and my case.
