Replaced the PAX tire/wheel combo on our '07 Touring. Used the '07 Acura MDX Sport package wheels 18"X8". Tires are from an '07 Acura RDX, Michelin 235/55/18. The standard MDX tires are 255/55/18 which are too wide for the fenders on the Odyssey, some rubbing will occur, especially when fully loaded. Tire pressure sensors were also replaced with the correct ones for the Odyssey, part number:06421-S3V-A04.

'07 MDX Sport Package Wheels

Perfect fitment and wheel offset.

Ride is quieter than the Michelin PAX and not as rough over small road imperfections.

Notice the width of the stock 255's on the MDX, compared to the 235's mounted on the Odyssey.

Replaced the MDX Tire pressure sensors, with the Odyssey's TPMS.

This is the correct TPMS for the swap. Note the part number.

The comp cards I have posted in a variety of forums, threads and messages... are a collection of Odysseys that I have personally assisted with their DEPAX, Mike has assisted or a few other Odyssey owner photos.

Thanks to all! :D

Famman, If you are a vendor, would it be best to use your own photos for your advertisement!

I just De-PAXed with 2010 Acura 19" HPT Wheels

I just De-PAXed with 2010 Acura 19" HPT Wheels. I love the result.

I purchased the wheels brand new from Weir Canyon Acura in Yorba Linda, California for $259 ea.
Jim, the Parts Manager, was terrific and very interested in the project. He was thrilled with the result.
The part number is 42700-TK5-A52 and it has a 55 offset.

I used Pirelli PZero Nero 245/50/ZR19 104W. The tires and mounting were done by Wheel Warehouse in Anaheim, CA.
Devin Downs was extremely helpful. Having owned an Odyssey, he was very familiar with the PAX issues.

The van rides firmer and handles lighter and tighter.
I can't believe the difference. It rides a tad higher.

20YrOdy, Holy moly, your ride looks super nice with those wheels. Congrats on the De-PAX.
Lookin good even the price is good for brand new wheels. I wonder how much he would want for the sports or tech. Can you provide the dealers telephone #
Weir Canyon Acura Parts: (888) 243-7818 Ask for Jim.

Obviously this may not be the best solution for most, due to shipping cost.
I asked him if he minded me publishing the price info publicly, and he had
absolutely no objection. He's having to compete against internet retailers.
I would contact your local Acura Dealer and see what they can do for you.

I'd like to see someone do these 19" Diamond-Cut Alloy Wheels.
I would like to, but it was too rich for my blood. Part number is 08W19-TK4-200B.
List price is $590, street price seems to be about $450.

Depax with 19" rims, anyone ? :)

Rims are sold to local Odyclub's member today 5/29/2010 for $259/each included tpms and matching Honda center caps, no lug nuts (2007 Ody Touring) Thanks so much for your business.
Coming soon! 2010 Acura MDX Advance 19" and 2010 ZDX 19"
Those 19's look awsome!
What is the reason you installed new TPMS sensor rather than use the ones from the PAX wheels? Will they not fit the new Acura wheels or is there some other reason?
Because it takes time. You have to either cut the tires open or dismount the tires in order to get an access to the tpms.
I think one of the arguments for new TPMS is they run on battery. I have an 05, so how much battery life is there left in my old TPMS. We will see, because I did not replace them. I used the old ones. I just had the tire shop cut them out of the old assembly. The tires were shot (thus the DePax), and the wheels are all but useless.
Can some experts help me out here. I was offer a new set of 2011 EX Honda Pilot 17inch wheels with tires from a close friend. I was wonder if this will fit my 2007 touring odyssey and Can I use the orginal tires or the tpms sensors that comes with the wheels? What do I need to complete this depax project? What do you guys recommand?

Thanks,

The rims will fit your van nicely but tires need to changed to 235/60/17 and you also need a new set of tpms part # 06421-S3V-A04. Your 2007 Touring's lug nuts will fit fine with the new rims.
Thanks for your information Mike. I was wonder how much will the sensors cost if I getting it from you. If the price is right, I might get it from you instead of other websites.

My eBay price is $153/shipped. Odyclub price is $145/shipped if pay with Paypal and $140 /shipped if pay with cashier check or money order.

Will these tires work on the Odyssey?

Michellen 255/55/18

Thanks
They'll roll fine but I think when you make a turn you may have rubbing issues. I have those on some X5 rims that I bolted up. Granted I didn't drive the van with them with them on but they "look" too big.

It will be fine if the cars unloaded but if you load up the car or go over a bump or somethin it will rub.
