Hello All,

Just bought a 2000 Odyssey EX. 111,000 miles and I think it is the orginal tranny. Anyhow, the previous owner gave me the remote but it didn't work.
So I replaced it with a new battery but the problem is the red light stays on the remote for 10 seconds then it turns off. Does that mean I have to reprogram it? Because none of the buttons are working. I researched through the forums but didn't find anything. Any advice is appreciated.

Hi, I have the same Problem With the same car too the red light go off and I don't know if is normal o my remote is damage because I try to programming and any button work.

quick ques. when you start the car and close all the doors. does the instrument panel indicate one of your doors is still open/ajar ?

No in my odyssey 2000 lx show all doors closed. My real problem is: when unlock or lock the doors from passenger, driver door or tailgate only the driver door work all the others no.
