I need to replace my 2000 Navigation computer unit. Will check junk yard etc. for a unit.

What years are compatible with the computer unit located under the passenger seat? Would any unit from 1999 to 2004 work?

William - Thanks for the help. Found a unit out of a 2000 Acura at the local bone yard. It looks like the same unit and had version 1.09J disc in it. That is exactly the same disc my original unit had when it was new. The unit started up OK and appears to be fully compatible.

A few years back, I purchased a Version 2.20 upgrade and installed it on the old unit. I don't remember there being any tricks to the upgrade. This "new" unit does not want to upgrade to the newer 2.02 software. Gives me an error message something like "Wrong Format".

I would like to use the newer 2.02 if possible. Is there something I am missing?
