2001 Ody's Engine Light Won't Turn Off

2242 Views 2 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  William Wiles
My 2001 ody's check engine light has been on for the past year or so. I've clocked 101k miles and she runs like the day I first got her. There are a few electrical problems such as the sliding doors occasionally not working, but I don't think that could be the case. I've changed the timing belt about a year ago. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Or does anyone have suggestions? I have my inspection due and it's failed 3 times in the emissions category and my mechanic can't seem figure out the problem. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

You need to find a new mechanic if he doesn't know enough to pull the failure code that is turning on the check engine code. Without the code the only help we can give you is the problem is between the front and rear bumper. Get the code and report back for some meaningful help.
